Full Traceability and Quality Control
We promise that we have full traceability on everything.
All animal feeding stuffs, and breeding stock are bought from approved audited suppliers, under the strict control of Rockvale Poultry. No animal products, meat bone or animal tallow are allowed into our feed. Our growing farms are subject to audits to ensure they always maintain the highest standards required.
Freedom from Residues.
Our chickens will be free from residues such as antibiotics, pesticides, heavy metals and anabolic substances, and of course from added water!
The administration of antibiotics can only take place under the direction of our consultant veterinary surgeon and this is covered by a written direction. For Health and Safety reasons any sick birds are promptly submitted to a laboratory for diagnosis and sensitivity testing. Advice by the veterinary surgeon would then be given to ensure full compliance with the guidelines provided by the British Veterinary Association.
Free range chicken.
Our free range chickens are allowed to roam freely in the open air. They take longer to grow and are a bit more expensive, but have enhanced flavour and texture.
